Ok so this is a bit of a late post, on March 4th, we went to see the new exorcism movie... The Unborn!

I gotta say I enjoyed this movie! For all those people who shit canned it i say, what more do you want from a horror / exorcism movie? The story is great, the acting is good, the directing is spot on, i just don't get it?!

Its the story of the lady with the bum on display on the right here, who finds out she was a twin but the other baby died in the womb, which at the time was being "attacked" by a jewish demon thing, I can't remember exactly what it was called, so I won't try lol, so upon the brothers death the demon set its sights on the little girl, now finally at full strength it can take over her. This is all I am going to say about this movie as i don't want to wreck it for people who haven't seen it.

I really enjoyed this movie, it has some nice twists and great jumps, i personally think its a great addition to the exorcsim movie genre!

Ok so Friday night, February 13th, yes I know original huh!, myself and the Bear visited our local cinemaplex to view the new Friday the 13th.

We was excited as a couple of fat kids who have just been given the key to willy wonkas chocolate factory and who had been told that they had just made giant chocolate boobs filled with beer.

We had seen the trailers, read the articles shuffled through picture after picture and now it was here! We took our seats in the darkened cinema screen and held our breaths...

... okay... sooo, what did i think... it was good... thats all i can say, it wasn't the best Friday 13th and it by far wasn't the worst, I think I built this up far too much in my mind, and the movie i designed in my head, was going to be without doubt THE best Friday 13th ever! What did i get, a mish-mash of Friday and Texas Chainsaw... note to the screenwriters and Marcus Nispel, when teens go somewhere, we don't always go for a massive batch of drugs... just a thought... and we don't need to be shown that Jason was there when Pamela Voorhees was beheaded... we all know he was, why the fuck do films feel the need to hand us fucking plot lines on a plate, its quite depressing, are some people actually that stupid that they need that? LEAVE SOMETHING TO OUR IMAGINATION!

Okay so it seems like i am hammering this movie... Forgive me, i am not! I did enjoy it, I liked the kills, all bar one, if your gonna make someone the cock of the film, kill them with some vengence, we want that fuck to suffer! I loved all the homages to the first 4 films that appeared, i fucking loved Derek Mears as Jason, He brought something new and fresh to him but also kept true to the slasher we all know and love! Jared Padalecki was great in this movie as well, played the loving brother cool guy really well, the two stoner kids made me laugh, i thought the cast didn't do a too bad job, i don't get when people shitcan these guys for wooden performances, they did a good job, no one was ever going to win an oscar from this movie and they stay true to the kids / victims of previous movies! Like i said i enjoyed this movie, when i first came out the movie, i was a little disapointed, due to my high hopes, but shortly after, and a sleep later, i realised how much i enjoyed this movie, and the more i chat about it with people, mainly the Bear, I am realising how much i enjoyed this movie!

So overall... Great Jason, Good boobs, ok Score (one chh chh kaa kaa... shame on you), Solid kills, very very good Friday the 13th!

Ok so what an idea for a movie! I bet this movie got green lit in two seconds...

HAHAHAHA But no, this movie is a very good horror/slasher movie which does keep you guessing as to what is going on and who the killer is! Plus there are lots of boobs! its a WIN WIN!

SO yeah its about this team of Cheerleaders, with there schools mascot, which is a chick in a gator costume, but the most confusing part of this group is the suuuuper fat kid who is part of the cheerleading group, who seems to like filming stuff and dressing as a chick to do it... fucking wierdo and of course his friend the most ugly cool guy lol who all the chicks want! lol! Fuck i laughed a lot at this movie! But it is a good movie, a stable 80's fun packed horror! It's got everything you could possible want from an 80's movie, funny moments, a couple of crazy members of staff, a horny sherrif and some cool gore! Watch it, don't expect too much, and you shall be please, and for like £5 you would be disapointed!

Ok.. now this movie is fun fun fun! If you like your horror to be a little tongue in cheek, i.e: Brain Dead, Evil Dead and Jack Brooks Monster Slayer, then this movie is for you!

So we begin in a shit heap little trailer park and our main character, Norma, is getting out! The other trailer trash who live there refer to her as Princess, and upon realising she is leaving start to hassle her and her boyfriend, hindering them leaving! Some shoving goes on and the lucky boyfriend is impaled on a broken fence... nice... Norma looses it and storms off out of the trailer park on foot.

Further down the road she meets a man dressed all in black who offers her a deal, to go back and get her revenge on the shit heads that killed her boyfriend and make her life hell! She agrees and takes his gun, she lays waste to the whole fucking place, and in the process blows the shit out of herself!

We flash forward to 2008 and catch up with some trouble teens, each with their own issues and their pastor, who is trying to rehabilitate them! It isn't working... They hear that a road is out and take a short cut whilst on their way home and have an accident on the way! Thus ending them up at our blown up trailer park... which is now all back together!

Here is where the fun begins! As we see our group of kids and pastor taken in by the kind, yet slutty Norma... She puts them up in various trailers, the kids inability to control certain urges is what gets them in trouble at this point! All the former residents of the trailers start re-appearing as zombie demons who all now do what Norma says! Killing the kids one by one along with the pastor!

This movie has some great kills and if your mind set is like mine... some great laughs! Want a good old fashioned night in watching a fun filled gore fest? Then this is for you!

Ok so I watched this a couple of nights ago... and i fucking loved it! Not strichtly a horror movie but more of a terror thriller movie. The Cast is absolutely superb, even down to the supporting cast!

So around the world you thankfully don't have the plague that we have in the UK.. known as Chavs! The general idea of them is that they are unruley, yobbish, attention seeking, loud and without regret... they also like to think life owes them something, without having offered anything to life. This is something that unfortunatly is filtering down to their children and their childrens children!

This is what this movie is about! So we have the couple everyone wants to be! A happy couple just wanting to spend a weekend together at a quarry (a sort of lake with a small beach) in the midlands. When whilst they are relaxing and chilling out a small group of chav teens turn up with their dirty big dog and start playing some music really loud. The dog starts barking at Kelly Reilly's character, Jenny, several times until Steve, her boyfriend played by Michael Fassbender, decides to go confront them... the film escalates from here!

It soon becomes a cat and mouse thriller between the chav teens and our lovely couple, until they brutally attack Steven and tie him up with barbwire! This scene actually made my girlfriend cry as you not only have this fully grown man begging for his life beaten and covered in blood, but you also have a sort of Lord of the Flies scene between the kids, as the lead chav Bret threatens his friends in to taking a slice out of Steven whilst, what we can assume is Brets girlfriend films it on her phone!

I don't really want to say too much more about this film as there is some pretty horrible moments between the two parties and some shocking little twists! Definatley a must see if you have seen and enjoyed the french movie 'Them'.

This movie is fucking awesome and if you haven't seen it... WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU STILL READING THIS FOR! GO FUCKING SEE IT!

So yeah I got another 10 pages of script done today! I am very excited about shooting this movie this summer! I have been off work ill and between throwing up and feeling like I was going to throw up I spent the day on the sofa typing away.

Ok this is one of those pointless remakes, such as 'Last House on the Left' etc etc... But it had its good points! Before you start going "fuck you, you don't know what your talking about yaddy yaddy yadda..." YAWN!
Hear me out! So yeah its a crappy remake which we are all getting sick of, but at the end of the day this isnt gonna end soon is it, the film companies don't really want to risk on big screen releases for films that arn't going to garentee them money back. I mean i enjoyed 'the Ruins' but honestly who saw that movie at the fucking cinema... I can't even remember a cinema showing it here in the UK!

Ok so ignoring it as a remake, this movie was a pretty good psychological thriller, centres around a relatively standard looking chick called Donna, its her Prom Night, just three years after she had to watch her former biology teacher slaughter her family due to his obession with her. She now is slowly getting back on track has a perfect boyfriend and a likeable set of friends, which is rare in movies recently, you actually want these kids to survive because they arn't rude obnoxious twats. So yeah whilst at the prom word gets out that the psycho teacher has broken out of prison and could be headed to the prom to claim his woman!

And he has... The cops do everything they can but he still slaughters his way through most of the cast, in not the most inventive ways... mostly a knife to the guts, but as my girlfriend pointed out whilst watching it when i was whineing, it makes it more believeable than if you started doing inventive kills with toilet paper and vases.

So yeah this movie is ok, not fantastic but not shit, so if your main reason for not watching it, is that it is a remake... you are an idiot, give it a go! View it more as a thriller than a balls out horror and you will get more from it. Its only a 15 i hear you scream, thats mostly because there is no boobs or mass gore in it, its more psychological!

Ah well I enjoyed it.

Heelllllll niiiiiiiggghhttt woooooo yeahhhhh! ahem... Hell Night is from 81 and stars Linda Blair... for those of you who are a total backwards fools who loves movies like Blair Witch Project... she was Regan in the Exorcist movies... they did quite well back in the day! Her main male co-star in this sorority horror backfire movie is Peter Barton, who looks like the bastard son of Jared Leto and the guy who played Superboy in the series no one ever remembers... Whose other only notable work was in Friday 13th: The Final Chapter!

This movie starts how more movies should start... with a wet t-shirt contest, I think they should have worked more on that scene at the begining, something they only touched on... I feel it was a bit of a mistake.

OK OK! SO... This movie centres around a sorority night initiation that goes horribly wrong! Four hapless pledges have to spend the night at a creepy old mansion where years before a father went insane and killed his deformed family, mother, two sisters and two sons! But the derangedfather left the son who didnt speak, just grunted all the time, he wanted him to suffer and be alone! But when the cops turned up they only found three bodies! The father and son left alive had disapeared... but surely this still leaves another body missing... or am i counting wrong! Anyone else notice this bit of bad math within the movie. Sorry... Yeah so the kids have to spend the night in this house, all the while outside the head members of the sorority play horrible tricks on them, which they get wise too very quickly, and then quickly pair off in two couples.

But whilst the sorority members are sneaking round the house they get picked off one by one by the now older and insane son! Which then only leaves the teens within the house, as they start getting killed they realise that this is no joke and something fucked up is going on! Will they survive the night... well i'm sure you can guess Linda Blair gives it a good shot!

The movie is a fun early 80's horror movie, don't expect too much or nudity... which is probably why it gets a little lost when thought of againts early 80's classics when it has to go up against the 'Burnings' and 'Friday 13ths' of this world.

I fucking love this movie! From 1985 this vampire movie is excellent! Was one of the first vampire movies which took the bloodsuckers from being stately and old looking... i'm looking at you Christopher Lee... and tried to make them look like an every day type of guy! And it works brilliantly!

What could you hate about this movie! NOTHING! Unless you are a douche... Set around a teen who loves his late night horror movies, more than his little boy look-a-like girlfriend, he is confronted with his own late night horror... when a vampire moves in next door... which he ignores his girlfriends offer of sex to watch... twas probably for the best, he could have had a nasty surprise! So after he witnesses a lady of the night entering the vampires homestead and then turning up dead on the news with her head removed his thoughts run wild, only to be fueled more when he witnesses another girl getting tasted by the vampire through a window, with binoculers... fucking pervert... and then she turns up dead! Left frustrated by everyone who won't believe him you turns to his hero, the host of his favourite show Peter Vincent, who initially thinks he is a fruitcake but later changes his mind and grows some balls and tries to help our loser teen.

This movie is excellent, it has some great jumps and a great soundtrack! Lots of goo and gore what more can you want. If you love Lost Boys etc and havent checked this out you have to! You won't be disapointed!

Where can I begin with this trilogy of "fun time" slasher movies... Angela is BACK!

The series which first began back in '83, known by some as Nightmare Camp, is one that kind of hides just under the radar from your every day film fan, and even with some horror fans. Every one loves Vorhees, Myers and Krueger, but in this ever changing world of women's rights and black U.S presidents surely there is space for a female slasher?

Sure they ain't the most fantastic movies off all time but they are fucking fun! At points you can even sympathise with our slightly unhinged transgender killer!

The first movie centres around a couple of cousins who get sent off to that oh so traditional (and as we are led to believe DEADLY) of american coming of age vacations, summer camp! But Angela the newbie to this set up is quiet and an irratation to her fellow campers as due to her troubled upbringing he gets to pretty much do as she pleases. She gets constantly picked on and singled out by the other girls at camp, only being defended by her slightly older cousin and an unknown force which seems to be taking exception to the people picking on young Angela, Including campers, camp counsalers and even a perverted cook! The ending does give the movie more than the standard slasher sometimes offers... that is all I am saying!

A few years have gone past and we catch up with Angela, who is now a camp counsaler herself! All she wants is for the kids to be wholesome and happy, but some just won't behave... or keep their tops on... which was probably a good thing as their acting probably left the movie needing some thing to "perk" it up! Saying that, their are some great kills! Which are very inventive... bbq twins anyone? They are finger lickin' good! This movie is probably the best out of the trilogy. Hiding nothing, unlike the first movie, you know who is killing and you can't wait for the next teen to piss her off! Combine this with the nice... i'm gonna call them homages... although I am sure they are pisstakes... of the horror killer vetrens, this makes for a very interesting and entertaining slasher.

Ok this movie... considering alot... is probably the weekest and most unbelievable movie...and if you have seen these movies you will understand. Angela is BACK is the tag line here... and she is posing as a 17 year old troubled teen... (i am raising my eyebrow, whilst typing this...) Angela just can't stay away from camp like a fat kid can't stay away from a sweetshop, they know they shouldn't go, they always are disponted by the selection and afterwards are always disapointed! This movie draws you in with boobage from the get go... even if they are like fried eggs with cherries on, and considering there size you would have to wonder why you would get 'milk shake' tattoed on them! THERE IS NOTHING TO FUCKING SHAKE! I diegress! Ok so Angela is back at camp again but this time its not all spoilt rich kids, there are also some inner city kids, which obviously means trouble... ahem... as they are trying to teach the kids sharing... whatever... One of the camp counselers is one of the hobos from 'Scrooged' tho, which was a nice surprise lol! Okay, so, another counseler is a cop whose son was killed by Angela... convenient... so yeah other than that there isn't much to this movie, she just goes from camp to camp killing the kids...

I did enjoy these slashers don't get me wrong! But I was always left wanting more which is a shame, because I think they had the ability to be fucking legendary and if taken in the right direction could have placed Angela up there with our most beloved killers!
